Our history…
Current owner/operator, Rachael Hiestand, with Bonnie Coulter, who founded the preschool.
Teddy Bear Preschool opened its doors to students for the first time in the fall of 1992. The vision for an elite preschool belonged to Bonnie Coulter who developed and ran our program for 26 years. In 2018, Rachael Hiestand took over as director and moved into LifeWell: a christian church’s building. We are the most tenured and experienced preschool in the Winfield area and we look forward to continuing to serve the area and the families that call it home for many years to come!
Our goal is to promote social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development through interactive and engaging activities. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and gain new experiences, and we strive to create an inclusive community where children can learn from and support one another to grow into the best THEM they can be!
At Teddy Bear Preschool, we also value the importance of building strong relationships with families and caregivers. By working together, we can create a supportive and enriching environment that enables each child to reach their full potential.
